Kelli Perkins will be teaching and playing with us again for the entire Deluxe Camp and the second half of “The Works” October!

For those of you who couldn’t make it last year or didn’t know about it in time – this is your big chance!

Kelli has a very limited teaching schedule so don’t miss spending 4 days including 3 full days of classes with her next fall.

Check back or subscribe to our newsletter to get first hand info about what Kelli will be teaching at Deluxe Art Camp for Women in 2012!

About Kelli Nina Perkins

Kelli Nina Perkins is a mixed media artist and librarian living on the shores of Lake Michigan. She has a master’s degree in information from the University of Michigan. For over a decade, Kelli has been making art that prizes the everyday ephemera of our lives, incorporating the common flotsam of discarded life into art that speaks to the heart. She’s taught mixed media on a local and national level, with virtual studios at the International Quilt Show and a DVD for Quilting Arts Workshops titled “Stitch Imagery.”

She’s been a guest on the PBS show Quilting Arts TV, presenting demonstrations on transfer techniques for liquid clay and her method for creating stitched paper-cloth collage pillows. She has more than a dozen published articles with artwork and instruction and has contributed articles and art to three popular craft books on mixed media altered art, self-portraits and artist trading cards. Her book Stitch Alchemy has been a bestseller in quilting, sewing and papercrafts. Kelli works as a library administrator in Holland, Michigan and shares her love of stitched art through articles and appearances.
