This is what we’re looking for and how to submit an application to us:
Who we are:
We are mainly a mixed-media retreat and we currently advertise in mixed media magazines, ”Cloth Paper Scissors” and “Somerset Studio”. We are looking for Instructors in mixed-media, bookmaking, art journaling, some fabric art, doll making, etc. We provide all art supplies for our Campers and take this into consideration in selecting the projects we offer i.e. it is not a fit to offer a class where everyone needs their own sewing machine. We are also not a fine art retreat.
Who you are:
You are a mixed media artist/bookmaker/art journalist/fabric art/dollmaker/etc.
You have a strong internet presence including an active blog or Facebook page with a substantial following.
You have taught nationally.
You are published in print or digital format (video)
You are warm, friendly, supportive and someone our Campers will love to spend time with.
You have a new project to offer our Campers – it’s fun, simple enough for beginners and yet an advanced Camper can take it to a higher level AND it can be completed comfortably in 2-4 days so they go home with a finished project.
