In real life, unfortunately things happen (sometimes at the last minute!) so we’ve written our cancellation and refund policy to be as clear as we can so we all know what to do when “stuff happens”.
This is the small print – read carefully and ask if you have any questions.
Art Camp for Women LLC Cancellation and Refund Policy
We encourage you to register as early as possible, since a camp session without a minimum number of registrations may be cancelled.
CAMP CANCELLATION
Art Camp for Women reserves the right to cancel any camp session that has not attained the minimum number of registrations. If such a cancellation becomes necessary you will be notified by e-mail no later than 30 days before the session is scheduled to begin. We will only notify you if camp is cancelled.
These dates are as follows:
- June Mini Camp - May 5, 2012 or earlier
- June Deluxe Camp – May 8, 2012 or earlier
- June “The Works” Camp – May 5, 2012 or earlier
- October Mini Deluxe Camp - September 9, 2012 or earlier
- October Deluxe Camp – September 12, 2012 or earlier
- October “The Works” Camp – September 9, 2012 or earlier
We highly recommend that you do not book air travel before this date as Art Camp for Women LLC will not be liable for the cost of your airfare if camp is cancelled.
Art Camp for Women will hold all camp sessions for which a minimum number of campers are registered. If we must cancel an Art Camp for Women session, registered campers will be given the opportunity to transfer to another session or opt for a full refund.
In the case of unforeseen circumstances, including acts of God, which would cause the event to be cancelled, Art Camp for Women reserves the right to reschedule at a later date to be determined.
CAMPER CANCELLATION REFUND POLICY
Campers who cancel their registration more than 60 days in advance of the first day of the session have three options:
1) Transfer the tuition paid towards registration in another camp of equal or lesser value held by the end of the following calendar year.
2) Transfer the tuition paid towards the registration of a new (not already registered) camper into the session you will miss.
3) A refund of the tuition paid less $250 (the non-refundable portion of your deposit).
These dates are as follows:
- June Mini Camp – April 4, 2012 or earlier
- June Deluxe Camp - April 7, 2012 or earlier
- June “The Works” Camp - April 4, 2012 or earlier
- October Mini Deluxe Camp – August 9, 2012 or earlier
- October Deluxe Camp - August 12, 2012 or earlier
- October “The Works” Camp - August 9, 2012 or earlier
Campers who cancel their registration 60 days or less in advance of the first day of the session have two options:
1) Transfer the tuition paid towards registration in another camp session of equal or lesser value held by the end of the following calendar year.

Note that no money will be refunded if registration is cancelled 60 days or less.

No tuition transfers or refunds will be made after the start of a camp session.
GUEST ARTIST-INSTRUCTOR
In the event an advertised guest instructor is unable to attend camp as contracted for any reason, Art Camp for Women will replace the instructor with another guest artist-instructor of equal skill.
