This class deviates from our regular Art Camp policies in that you will need additional money and tools.
- You will need to bring a laptop computer.
- You will need to bring a digital camera OR have pictures already on your laptop
When speaking with Beth it came up in the conversation that the majority of her blogging clients were women! Not only that, they were (mostly) women over 40 that were artists, writers and entrepreneurs.
The parallel with the women that come to Art Camp was so striking that both of us (Lorri and Lori) started bouncing the idea around – of having her come to camp – we decided we would only find out by testing it out.
So Beth will bring her blogging class, Blog Design and Set-Up, to Art Camp for Women. If you choose her class – you can go home with your own blog, up and running with at least a couple of blog posts ready to go!
Here is what you will learn in your 2 days of classes. How to:
- Set up a blog or website for your artwork (or anything else)
- Learn how to change the look of your blog by choosing new templates
- Learn how to post images of your art quickly and easily
- Set up a (free!) tool for starting your mailing list
- Learn how to optimize your blog posts for the search engines, so you get found in the search engines for the things you’d like to be found for!
- Make it easy for your readers to share your posts on social media sites like Facebook and Twitter
If you already have a blog and are not using it or if you find it awkward or hard to use, choose this class to re-vamp your blog and get it to a workable and working status.

The additional fee of $85.00 is paid to the company (Blue Host) who will host your site. Bring your credit card to pay for this fee during class. You will also need either a digital camera or pictures you already have on your laptop.
