Day 2 – 4 of our 2012 camps will have each day starting with an Art Journaling class. This year we will make a Special Occasion Journal, a journal for special events or specific events.
The one we will make will be one that will cover 7 days. It will be flexible so that it can be used repeatedly for menus or for trips. Or it can be for a one-time event, a honeymoon or an anniversary party or a graduation party or you-name-it.

The journal will be made out of recycled manila file folders (or new) and will be held together with decorative tape that we will make also. We will use stencils, water color, acrylic paints, light molding paste and gel mediums to come up with a rich and colorful little book that will delight you and your friends at your next special event.

We will also do some exercises to kick start your journal writing and make sure that you will be able to continue journaling when you get home – if that is what you want.
